The story is set in New York in the 1960s. Con man Tom Ripley (played by Andrew Scott) is hired by a wealthy man to go to Italy to try to convince his homeless son Dicky Greenleaf (played by Johnny F.Lin (played by Lin) goes home.After Ripley accepted the job, he embarked on the first step in a life full of lies, fraud and murder.
