Zheng Manyi went to Lin Mansion as a guest with her mother. She was raised by the concubine since she was a child, and Old Mrs. Lin had a good relationship with the concubine, so she naturally liked her very much. Both families have plans to marry: the Lin family wants to use the power of the Duke of Guo, but the Duke of Guo wants to win over Jin Qi because the prince values him.Lin's mother arranged for Jin Qi to send Man Yi to the old lady's house to give the two of them a chance to be alone.

On the way, Jiugao brought a pot of withered yellow orchids. Yuchan asked him to give it to the gardener, but he was afraid that Jinqi would be anxious when he came back, so he came to ask first.Jin Qi immediately urged him to do it, and Man Yi saw that the flower was very important to him.Jin Qi left on official business and did not send her to the finish line, but gave her a book as a gift.Man Yi understood the poetry in the book and knew that he did not want to lean on the Duke's side, but she also believed that it was not his place to decide the marriage, which was decided by his parents.

Hearing that Jin Qi often went to Lu's calligraphy and painting shop, Man Yi went there specially. Seeing the same orchids displayed there, she offered a hundred taels for them.Lan Xiang agreed to sell flowers, but Man Yi did not expect that she valued money more. She smashed the flowers after returning home, determined to destroy Lan Xiang and cut off Jin Qi's thoughts. She bribed people from Furong Theater Troupe and asked a fake handyman to stun Lan Xiang while she was delivering Mr. Lu's new play notes.

Lan Xiang woke up and found that she and the unconscious Han Liang were locked in a box on the stage and would soon appear in public. She used ready-made objects to pretend to be ghosts. Once the lid of the box was opened, she sang "There is a ghost in the box".Seeing that there was someone else in the box, Furong quickly cooperated and covered it back. The second and third masters of the Lin family were watching the play in the audience. The third master had read the script and felt that the acting method was different. He also felt that the people on the stage looked familiar, but he did not see through it on the spot.

After stepping down, Fu Rong arranged for Han Liang, and Lan Xiang started to draw the appearance of the fake handyman after washing up, trying to find out who set up the trap. Before the painting was completed, someone used a message from the class leader to trick her into opening the door, knocked her unconscious again, and took her away.Han Liang woke up and saw the unfinished portrait. This time it was the Duke's people who took action. The Duke of Guo suspected that his daughter was not doing things cleanly and ordered the handyman to be killed, but Man Yi insisted that Lan Xiang should not be killed, otherwise she would become someone Jin Qi would never forget.

Furong and Han Liang went to Xu's house to discuss. Jin Qi heard the news and came to investigate, starting with the theater troupe.Uncle Liu was avoiding the search, and Han Liang recognized him as a tea master who had been making tea in the troupe for many years. He happened to see the kidnapper, and Jin Qi promised to protect him and asked him to make up the portrait. The officers and soldiers came to the troupe originally to look for the deposed prince who had never gone to sea, especially to check the length of his fingers.Marquis Yongchang also told Jin Qi the news, and they all wanted to save the people first.
