After listening to Jin Qi's suggestion, the old man decided to invite a young man of suitable age to come to the house as a guest on the day of the people's victory to see the second young lady's marriage. The Lin family wanted to thank Xie Zhao, but they couldn't invite him alone, so they made the banquet lively.Mother Lin was responsible for the preparations, and specially sent strict nuns to guard the locked doors of each courtyard to prevent young men and women from accidentally meeting and spreading gossip that would affect the reputation.

The second lady was looking forward to Xie Zhao and asked the maid to inquire about his clothes and hide behind the window to peek. She didn't know that when Xie Zhao changed his clothes after getting wet, what she saw was actually Du Zheng.Xie Zhao thought the games during the dinner were vulgar and felt that he was betraying the reputation of the Lin family's scholarly family, so he found a quiet place alone. The second uncle met him. Jin Qi heard the conversation between the two and decided to accompany him by drinking and drinking.

Jialan was reading in the courtyard and happened to read the meaning of the delphinium flower. She remembered that there was one in the colorful flower sent by Miss Du, and she suddenly became anxious. If Jin Qi wears it to a banquet, it will easily be seen as intending to take Delphinium as a concubine. If it coincides with a blind date, it will cause misunderstandings. She picked up the book and looked for Yuchan, and met Gan Tang on the way, but the two of them were stopped by the gatekeeper, who refused to let them go no matter how hard she explained.

The fourth young master was hiding in a tree and playing with his slingshot, and happened to hit Jialan. She was so anxious that she promised to ask her neighbor Liu Shu, who was good at making slingshots, to make a new one for her, and asked him to help send a message to the old man.Someone at the table recognized the Huasheng that Jin Qi was wearing and made a joke. Du Zheng was also very embarrassed.Fortunately, the old man and his second uncle both showed up wearing the same huasheng. After explaining the meaning, they distributed it to each guest, and they gently dispelled the idea of their children's affair.

Mother Lin questioned Delphinium, but Delphinium pretended not to know and blamed Xiaolian who was packing the box.Xiaolian couldn't remember to let go of the flower victory, so she thought she had made a mistake in her rush.Yuchan and Nanny Wu also received twenty sticks and half a year's monthly payment for their negligence.Jialan was rewarded with ten taels of gold and also asked for a reward for Gantang who was traveling with him.Jin Qi invited the fourth young master to eat, and then he found out that the person who rescued him was Jialan, and asked her to ask what happened.Jialan said that she guessed that Delphinium made more than one, and everyone wore them, so naturally it cannot only refer to the love between men and women.
