Yongchang Hou praised Jialan in front of Jin Qi and wanted to take her to his house.Jin Qi refused on the grounds that she was a maid arranged by her mother, and began to pay attention to her unconsciously. On the way back, Jialan saw that Jiugao and Yuchan were interested in each other, so she walked faster to give them a chance to talk. After entering the house, the second lady brought Delphinium again, saying that she wanted to go to the temple to fulfill her vows. Jin Qi was suspicious of the closeness between the two, so he asked Jialan to pay more attention and gave her ointment to apply on the wound on her neck.

There is not enough hot water, so Jialan lets Yu Chan take a bath first.Unexpectedly, Yuchan started to develop rashes on her body, and the two of them thought they were allergic at first.Hearing that Delphinium knew something about medicine, Jialan went to her hospital to ask for medicine, but she had already gone to the temple with the second lady, leaving only Xiaolian to guard her.Jialan saw a pair of expensive chess pieces, and Xiaolian said they were given by Du Zheng. With the Du family's family background, how could such a sum of money come from?Jialan secretly had doubts and told Xiaolian not to talk more, just saying that she had come to ask for medicine.

Marquis Yongchang admired Jin Qi more and more and also mentioned his marriage. His princess wife passed away many years ago, leaving behind an eleven-year-old daughter who has been taken care of by him. Now he wants to marry a girl from the Lin family.Jin Qi understood and agreed to go back and ask his second aunt. Before he finished speaking, Jiugao came to report that the Japanese pirate in custody had been poisoned and died, and Wang Er, who delivered the meal, also committed suicide, with the powder still left in his fingernails. The two hurried over and decided to get to the bottom of it.

Yuchan's condition is getting worse, and Jialan is worried that if she alerts Lin's mother, she will be sent outside to recuperate.Once the maids are sent away, the conditions are poor, and many of them will never come back, but if they don't invite doctors, they are afraid of delaying treatment. She went to find Jiugao and happened to meet Jin Qi returning, so she had to ask for help truthfully.Jin Qi arranged to ask Doctor Li first on the pretext of asking for a safe pulse for Lin's mother, and then secretly brought him to Yu Chan for treatment.

Jin Qi took Jialan to change clothes and went to ask her mother and second aunt about Marquis Yongchang's marriage proposal. The second aunt took a fancy to the Marquis's character and status and was quite satisfied. However, the eavesdropping second lady hurriedly objected and was stopped by the two younger sisters. Delphinium also advised her not to just rely on noise to solve the problem. The fourth lady also had a rash. After Doctor Li looked at it, Jiugao took her to Yuchan's place.Jiugao stayed outside the window for auscultation and took the initiative to buy medicine.Later, the third young lady saw the second sister and Delphinium walking together in the pavilion. In a blink of an eye, only Delphinium was left, so she got up and went to look for her sister.
