In order to raise funds for Blossoms, director Wong Kar-wai filmed a series of related advertisements to help finance the project.
Location shooting
Shanghai Film Chedun Film and Television Base will build multiple Shanghai street scenes for the drama and movie Blossoms, truly reproducing the Shanghai-style style in the early days of reform and opening up.
Shooting process
In April 2020, the working team for the TV series version of Wong Kar-wai's Blossoms made an appointment for a high-standard studio in Hengdian and moved in in May.
On January 24, 2022, after two years of filming, the drama was finally completed and released - Blossoms - to Reuters; according to the Shanghai Film and Television Park's updated shooting updates from October 10th to October 16th, the crew of the dramaScenery and filming work are still in progress.
