Liyuan Comedy Festival landed in Qingdao: 78 good shows are hidden behind the courtyard gate of the old city

 The third Liyuan Comedy Festival will be held in Qingdao from September 19th to 28th.Centenary courtyards, streets and alleys will be reopened and become places where performances take place.When the audience walks through a courtyard door, they may encounter a short comedy; when they turn a street corner, they may catch a concert or a movie screening.Comedy has moved from the stage to the city, giving the old city a more vivid expression.

In this event, the area enclosed by Hebei Road, Beijing Road, Zhongshan Road and Jinan Road has been set up as a music viewing area, where courtyard performances, comedy film screenings, concerts and art installations will be held. The Huangdao Road area has become a happy travel area, where blind box shows, carnival parades and lawn concerts will appear one after another.The space originally used for living has temporarily been given a new purpose, making viewing more casual and closer to daily life.

Comedy requires an immediate reaction from the audience.A laugh in the theater or the stop of a passerby during a street performance may bring a new rhythm to the actor.The size of the inner courtyard is not large, but the distance between people is just right.Actors perform in the courtyard, and the sounds of neighborhood life are still flowing around. The first announced lineup includes 32 labels and individuals, 59 plays and 78 specially invited performances.Children's plays, new circus, interactive mime, comic art, cross talk, talk shows and improvisational comedy will all take turns in more than ten courtyards, theaters and markets.The addition of teams such as Happy Twist and Danliren Comedy also gives humor styles from different regions the opportunity to meet in the same city.
