“Palermo” actor returns to Netflix to play Argentinian criminal in Gordon

Rodrigo de la Serna, who plays Palermo in Money Heist, will return to Netflix in another character.The Argentinian limited series "Gordon" starring him is scheduled to be launched on November 18, playing the role of Anibal Gordon, who turns from theft to murder.

This political crime thriller is based on real events and puts its characters into the violent years of Argentina in the 1970s.The story follows Gordon from committing robberies to being deeply involved in the violence of the time, and also shows his relationships with different gangs.The series is based on a biographical novel by investigative journalist Marcelo Lalaki, who also worked closely with the writing team.

Pablo Trapero serves as showrunner and co-directs with Pablo Fendrick; Trapero also co-wrote the series with Marcos Osorio Vidal.Adrian Soare and Diego Andrasnik are producing through Preludio Producciones.

Serna's character in "House of Money" was born Martin Bellot, codenamed Palermo.In addition, he has also appeared in the 2018 Spanish comedy Yucatan, as well as The Motorcycle Diaries, Hermanos y detectives, San Martín: El cruce de Los Andes and other works.

The new cast also includes Society of the Snow actors Matias Reicart, Agustín Padella, Camila Peralta, Matias Meyer, Fiorella Bottagioli, Fernando Contigiani Garcia, Augustina Muñoz and Toto Rivito.

Peralta previously starred in Cambio cambio, Meyer in A Rooster for Esculapio, Bottaioli in The Girl from Uruguay, and Muñoz and Rivito in Viola and Blondi respectively.
