《Bloodaxe》(Bloodaxe) first trailer released: The Battle for the Viking Throne will be launched on Prime Video on January 20, 2027

In 927 AD, King Harald of Norway became seriously ill, and the choice of heir would determine the direction of the kingdom.Prime Video released the first trailer for the historical action drama Bloodaxe at New York Comic Con. The story revolves around the battle between the brothers Eric and Hakon for the throne.The series is scheduled to be launched on January 20, 2027.

This is also the time when Vikings creator Michael Hirst once again writes Nordic history.This time he co-created, wrote and served as series coordinator with Horatio Hearst. The first season has a total of 8 episodes.
