November 14th, - Xiangyang Youth - will be released

The campus youth-themed movie - Xiangyang Youth - is confirmed to be released nationwide on November 14, and the finalized poster and trailer of the “为你好” version have been released at the same time.Directed by Wang Panling and starring Xiao Yuqing and Lu Xuanle, the story revolves around high school girl Xia Weiling: academic pressure and family conflicts continue to squeeze her life, and her parents' expectations have gradually become an unbearable burden for her.

The girl on the poster is standing in the middle of the crowd with a schoolbag on her back, and the adults around her are talking into her ears. The picture erases the facial features of the characters, turning those recurring words "for your own good" into a kind of encirclement. The film uses this poster to show Xia Weiling's situation of gradually closing her heart. The trailer places the conflict in everyday conversations.“My face has completely embarrassed you”“You have to work harder than others”“You are all my mother hopes for”-Achievements become the yardstick for measuring children, and doubts, denials and comparisons occur one after another. Her personal space was violated and her expression was not trusted. It became increasingly difficult for Xia Weiling to communicate with her family. The accumulated emotions eventually turned to a head-on conflict, and the trailer also showed a shot of the girl walking onto the rooftop.

Recently, conflicts between some public figures and their parents have also triggered discussions.《 Xiangyang Youth 》 focuses on misplaced expectations, lack of respectful communication, and the hurt left when children's grievances are not seen. The creator hopes to use Xia Weiling's experience to make parents and adolescent children rethink listening, respect and understanding, instead of just judging who is right and who is wrong.

The film also stars Xu Guangyu, Li Ying, Zhang Sile, Zhang Jinglan, Chai Wei, Zhang Hengming, and Zhang Changning, with special appearances by Guo Yafei, Niu Piao, Zhou Haodong, Zhang Guoqing, Zuo Tengyun, Guo Yan, Wu Lan, Wang Junyuan, and Liao Qian.
