《Karma》Korean name《악연》, English name Karma, is a Korean crime thriller drama launched by Netflix, adapted from Kakao Webtoon《Nie Yuan》 created by Choi Hee-sun.The series is directed and written by Lee Il-hyung, starring Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-ah, Lee Hee-joon, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo, Gong Seung-yeon and others.

The story revolves around six people who are implicated by accidents, desires and old sins.A car accident, a transaction, and a seemingly accidental encounter push unrelated characters into the same web of fate.Some want to escape debt, some want to cover up crimes, some are trapped by past trauma, and some continue to make more dangerous choices out of greed and fear.

As the relationships between the characters intertwine, everyone seems to be pulled by an invisible Karma. Park Jae-young was forced into a desperate situation by loan sharks.
