In the play, Shangguan Qian takes advantage of the opportunity to grab medicine, ostensibly to reduce the fire, but actually to prepare analgesics that suppress the half-moon fly in the body and alleviate the rapid onset of the poison's effects.However, during the process of checking the medication, Gong Yuanzheng discovered that these ingredients could prepare poison.This immediately aroused Gong Yuanzheng's vigilance, making him immediately suspect that Shangguan Qian wanted to poison his brother Gong Shangjiao.So, he ran over to stop him, but was injured by Gong Shangjiao and almost lost his life.

Shangguan Qian's purpose in coming to the palace is to get close to Gong Shangjiao, sow discord between Gong Shangjiao's brothers and plunge them into civil strife.Yun Weishan came to Gong Ziyu mainly to investigate the defense plan of the palace gate, while Shangguan Qian deliberately approached Gong Shangjiao in order to get the key secret of the palace gate, which should be a very powerful hidden weapon.

Shangguan Qian’s purpose
