With the support of local aristocratic families, they continued to excavate Dunhuang grottoes and paint Dunhuang murals.This episode takes the construction of Grotto No. 220 of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang as an example to tell how the Dunhuang Grottoes witnessed the prosperity of the Silk Road and became the epitome of the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty.
