Bai Chu's refusal to marry caused trouble
King Chen's shadow guard Lin Yu was assassinated by “Guigu” killers on his way back home. These killers were sent by King Chen's younger brother, King Qi, to kill King Chen in order to compete for the crown prince's position.
Unexpectedly, the scene where Lin Yu killed the killer happened to be witnessed by Bai Chu, who was climbing a tree to catch poisonous insects. Bai Chu was so frightened that he slipped and fell from the tree, but was caught by Lin Yu.After the two dealt with it skillfully, Bai Chu escaped, but Lin Yu picked up the token of the eldest lady of the Bai family.
