Arya Stark is one of the main POV characters in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by American writer George R.R. Martin, ranking first in the number of chapters in the first five volumes.Three, and the only character to have a POV chapter in every volume.​

Arya is the second daughter of Eddard Stark, Duke of Winterfell. She is 9 years old when she first appears and is nearly 12 years old at the end of Volume 5. She is lively and active and is a typical tomboy. She does not like the etiquette of female celebrities but likes to dance with knives.The sword was evaluated by his father as having “wolf blood”.Compared to her other red-haired and blue-eyed siblings, Arya has brown hair and gray eyes that are closer to her father's, and is said to be very similar to her aunt Lyanna Stark when she was young.

Arya is played by British actress Maisie Williams in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.
