Zhang Dabao's talent in electrical appliances is favored by Cao Maimai. In order to win over Dabao, Cao Maimai lets him stay at his home.
Dabao wanted to get close to his father, Cao Qiang, chairman of White Swan, through Mai Mai, but found that Mai Mai and his daughter had already turned against each other.White Swan's supply of goods was cut off and employees' wages were misappropriated. Cao Qiang was so angry that he was admitted to the hospital. Dabao encouraged Xiaomai to visit Cao Qiang and claimed that he had a way to save White Swan.
