Lin Siyun breaks up with Qiao Shijun
Shen Yiqun was in crisis due to the exposure of his lover Daisy. He asked Cheng Ao to help. Cheng Ao intervened in time to destroy the newspaper page to prevent the situation from worsening further. Cheng Ao persuaded Daisy and arranged for her to leave Shanghai, so Daisy was able to escape.
Lin Siyun angrily asked for a break-up because she discovered a love letter from her fiancé Qiao Shijun and her lover. Qiao Shijun tried to comfort her with the exchange of interests of the marriage, but Lin Siyun refused to compromise and insisted on breaking up.
