Abao

(1) Born around the early 1950s, her father was a revolutionary and her mother was a daughter of a landlord family in Zhejiang.I started a private company probably in the 1980s.

(2) Abao first met Husheng in sixth grade.

(3) Po probably had a crush on Betty when he was a boy.After Betty disappeared (it is said that she turned into a goldfish), Abao always remembered Betty in his heart.

(4) His home was confiscated during the Cultural Revolution and he was moved from Gaonan Road to Caoyang Gongxin Village in western Shanghai.He first fell in love with his neighbor Xiaozhen, but later the relationship broke down.Lanlan introduced her to Xuezhi, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend, and they officially broke up around 1978.

Husheng

(1) Born around the mid-1950s, his parents were Air Force cadres. Xiaomao

(1) He is about the same age as Hu Sheng. He lives in the Ziming Bell Alley in the West of Shanghai. He got acquainted with Hu Sheng when he bought movie tickets for Maya Dai at the Cathay Cinema.

(2) He learned boxing from a master when he was in elementary school, and worked as a fitter during the Cultural Revolution.

(3) During the Cultural Revolution, she had sexual relations with her neighbor Yinfeng many times. Later, the uncle on the second floor informed Yinfeng’s husband Haide about the whole situation. Haide negotiated with Xiaomao’s mother (Xiaomao was unaware of it), and Xiaomao was forced to marry Chunxiang and move toto Moganshan Road.

(4) Xiaomao severed ties with Yinfeng, Husheng and Abao before moving to Moganshan Road.

(5) About three years after marrying Chunxiang, Chunxiang died of dystocia (probably in 1976 or 1977).

(6) Xiao Mao died around 1995.
