A dutiful girl (played by Xiao 11) agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover that the royal family wants to sacrifice her to repay an old debt.Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.

The trailer shows Elodie already in the dragon's lair, trying to climb a dangerous cliff, only to find there is no way out.It then goes back in time, setting up the rest of the film, and the way Queen Isabelle calmly encourages the princess to accept her sacrifice.

Princess Elodie doesn't begin the movie as a strong, monster-killing heroine.Instead, it looks like the story will follow her as she finds her strength after being forced into a precarious situation and learning that she's capable of feats she'd never imagined before.
