《Survivor》(Survivor) Season 51 Premiere

The 51st season of the reality show - Survivor - opens with a two-hour premiere.After the end of the 50th season, the show entered what the producers called the “Open Era”. The 21 new players faced the returning competition format, new changes to the old mechanisms, and three new mechanisms.Host Jeff Prost reminded the players at the beginning that the game will be full of continuous uncertainty, and who leaves and who stays will be determined by the choices the players make on the island.

The tribal turbans that followed unveiled the grouping.Season 51 opens with two tribes, the first time a show has started with two tribes since Survivor: Winners at War.The yellow tribe is called Toka and the purple tribe is called Savu.Before the first round of grouping, Louis took the initiative to accept an unknown task, so he did not get his tribal turban for the time being.

Louis was sent to Exile Island.After meeting Prost, he was given the opportunity to fight for the immune statue: he could only chop down the entire log with a very small axe, but could not climb or shake the wooden pillar, and the statue was placed on the top of the log.Louis wore out his hands for this, but still gave up in the end, and the statue stayed on Exile Island waiting for the next contestant to be sent.As part of this mission, he was able to avoid the first tribal council.

The premiere also brings back the coin-tossing mechanism used in Season 50 and adds new accumulation rules.Each season one contestant will be chosen by a coin toss.If successful, the player will receive an immunity statue and the bonus will be increased by US$1 million.If they fail, the player will immediately leave the game and no tribal council will be held that season.The additional $1 million after a failure will be rolled over to the next season, and the next participant may face the opportunity to throw a higher amount.

The first immunity challenge was played by Tokar and Savu.The obstacle course requires players to unlock a large box, push the box through a cargo net, and finally complete a puzzle.Savu finished first and qualified as a safety.Toca enters the first tribal meeting of the season.After the defeat, the targets within Toca quickly focused on Jenna and Alya.

Jenna gave people a relatively closed first impression. Devin and others suspected that she was not telling the truth, and even questioned her self-proclaimed identity as a wedding photographer.Jenna revealed in the interview that she was going through a divorce, which made it harder for her to open up to other people.Alia was responsible for more time in the challenge of untying the rope and retrieving the ball, so she became another name that was discussed.

Jenna then told Brady and Kilby that Aaliyah had commented on Brady's status during the challenge, causing Brady to immediately turn on Aaliyah.Devin tried to keep Aaliyah by publicly pushing for a vote for Jenna.At Tribal Council, both Jenna and Alya used “Dark Strike” chance, but neither gained safety.In the end, Alia was eliminated 6-2, becoming the first contestant to leave the game in Season 51.

The Season 51 premiere has already introduced two tribes, Exiled Island, and a coin-tossing mechanism that accumulates money in front of contestants.Toca needs to regroup after the first round of voting, and Louis stays in the game but misses out on the idol.How the new rules will affect subsequent eliminations, and what choice the next contestant facing the coin toss will make, will continue to unfold in the following episodes.
