《National music is youthful》Prairie Sound Search: Morinouqin, suona and rap on the same stage

Suona, erhu, pipa and morinouqin were brought to Ordos, and a welcome ceremony, folk song exchange, rehearsal and concert began along with the journey.China Central Radio and Television's Audiovisual New Media Center and the Literary and Art Program Center jointly launched "Guoyin Zhengyouyou", which will be broadcast from October 7, and the first episode will come to Inner Mongolia.Ma Fanshu serves as the “Youth Convener”, and Yan Yongqiang, Chen Yimiao, Liu Jialiang, and Haramji form the “Youth National Music Troupe”.Musicians such as Hailai Amu, Huang Yubo, Mao Yanqi, Aoriqileng, Yunfei and others participated in the project to find creative materials from the music life of local people.

At the welcome meeting, the Mongolian welcome etiquette was combined with the long tune and humai, and the morinouqin, fourhu, three-stringed instrument, dulcimer and flute together formed an original music scene. The Chinese music troupe joined in with their own musical instruments, and the performances - Ten Faces - Good Horse - Dairi Ratcha - became an opportunity for both parties to discuss.

Exchanges also took place under the trees and in the rehearsal space.Suona, erhu, pipa and morinouqin each have their own sound characteristics. Young musicians need to find coordination in the ensemble, hear each other's voices, and then use the experience of collecting styles together in their works.

Folklore experiences are arranged outside the performance: making pot tea, learning Mongolian dance, experiencing the Morin Khuur, and communicating with Wulan Muqi, “四大piece” performers and the Children's Morin Khuur Orchestra. The program also combines folk songs with variety games, allowing guests to learn about local music while listening, guessing, singing and dancing.

When we sat down to chat, the conversation returned to our respective experiences. The greenness of entering the industry, confusion in creation, how to get involved with Chinese music, and expectations for concerts will all be discussed. The footage captures the process from the first meeting to rehearsal, from impromptu discussions to serious running-in.

Nighttime concerts bring daytime conversations to the stage.National instrumental music and modern band arrangements are on the same stage, traditional folk songs, long and short tunes are combined with original pop and rap.Sand dunes, lakes, grasslands and sunsets form the performance environment, and the audience participates on site.

The performances announced in the first phase include Mo Heru by Ao Riqi Leng, I Have a Promise with the Grassland by Yun Fei, Dancing with the Tambourine by Mao Yanqi (VaVa) and Yan Cai by Huang Yubo.New rhythms and arrangements will be added to familiar repertoire, and original works will also enter this prairie concert.

The program combines reality shows, cultural experiences, music co-creation and stage performances with the "Guoyin Sound Journey".

The broadcast schedule is every Wednesday: 20:30 for CCTV and CCTV New Media, and 21:00 for CCTV variety channel CCTV-3 and music channel CCTV-15.
